Dr. Umer Zaman, Global Convergence Business professor, and Dr. Murat Aktan have recently published an article titled “Examining residents’ cultural intelligence, place image and foreign tourist attractiveness: A mediated-moderation model of support for tourism development in Cappadocia (Turkey)”.

In this article, they examine the impact of residents' cultural intelligence, place image, and foreign tourist attractiveness on the support for tourism development.  The present study advances the established theory on tourist-resident interaction and the support for tourism development. It also sets strategic directions for tourism planners and destination marketers to ensure resident's support for tourism development.

Dr. Umer Zaman's article was published in the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management (JHTM). Those who are interested to read this article in full can find it at: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jhtm.2021.01.017
