Dr. Loughlin Sweeney recently attended a high-profile conference at the University of Cambridge, where he presented a very well-received paper on the Irish Diaspora in the Pacific World.
The Cambridge-Edinburgh Modern Irish History working group is at the forefront of new research into Irish studies, identity, minorities, and the history of ideas. It provides a forum for the collaboration of researchers and scholars from universities such as Cambridge, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, University College Dublin, Queen's University Belfast - and Endicott College of International Studies!
