The Endicott College Research Centre has been hosting research seminars for foreign faculty and PhD students at Woosong University during Fall 2017. Thus far the Centre has hosted two talks, one talk on "Reseach in Korea: What Counts and Who Counts What" presented by Dr Kevin Kester on September 22. The second seminar on October 13, moderated by Dr Samiha Chemli of Sol International School, covered tips and strategies for "Publishing in High-Impact SSCI Journals." Dr Brandon Sherman, Dr Kester, and Dr Chemli offered advice on the role of an effective title, concise yet comprehensive abstract, conceptual development, sufficient scientific impact, and the influence of international collaborators and research funding grants as elements in the writing of exceptional SSCI papers.

The next Research Seminar will be on October 27 with Dr Eric Reynolds of the Graduate School of TESOL-MALL at Woosong presenting tips and strategies for conducting questionnaire-based research. The seminar will be held at Building S1 706 from 12-1pm.
